Troubleshooting of Plastic Pneumatic Ball Valve

The speed and accuracy of solving common problems of plastic pneumatic ball valve shut-off valves determine the degree of impact on production equipment. The responsibility of maintenance personnel is to quickly and accurately identify and solve common problems on site to reduce the impact on production and manufacturing.

So what should we do when the plastic pneumatic ball valve fails? . The following are inspection methods for five common problems with plastic pneumatic ball valves:

1. The electric actuator does not work.

Check whether the operating pressure of the pneumatic regulating valve of the inlet and outlet air filter gas pressure reducing valve reaches the rated current. Adjust the operating pressure of the air source or replace the air filter gas pressure reducing valve according to the status; check whether the relay is blocked, the status of the sewage pump, and the ventilation action Whether it is normal, clear the blockage or replace the relay according to the status; check whether the operating pressure of the pneumatic control valve entering the electric actuator reaches the rated current, and check whether the speed control board is blocked or the sewage pump status is blocked;

2. The electric actuator behaves properly, but the torque is insufficient.

Check the adjustment bolts on both sides of the cylinder, adjust according to the closed state, and lock them to the appropriate position.

3. The plastic pneumatic ball valve can be switched on and off, but it behaves slowly when opening or closing.

Check whether the speed control board in front of the actuator needs to be adjusted, because as the service life of the plastic pneumatic ball valve increases, changes in the process pipeline and the valve itself require adjustment of the speed control board; check whether the cylinder is leaking In the steam state, damage to the O-ring in the cylinder may cause the valve to behave sluggishly, and whether the inlet and outlet lock valve behaves flexibly;

4. The electric actuator behaves normally, but the plastic pneumatic ball valve does not.

The valve core of the plastic pneumatic ball valve is stuck with the high-pressure gate valve; the pipeline is blocked; the connection between the electric actuator and the valve core is worn out or falls off, etc.

5. The electric actuator behaves normally, but the power switch of the plastic pneumatic ball valve cannot be timely.

There is dirt in the pipeline blocking the valve; the material pressure difference is large, the steel of the electric actuator is small, and the valve does not close tightly;

The normal operation of the plastic pneumatic ball valve is related to the effect of the processing process and system operation. It is very important to do a good job in daily maintenance.
